I am a graduate of the U of Michigan(twice). I have offered them 1 million dollars if they get rid of all DEI across the campus. I have written multiple letters and emails to all levels of administration and get not so much as a form letter in response.

That's very noble of you, Mikey, but I suppose if they took the money they would feel that they had been "bought"! The only way that we can trust that they will sincerely change their ways is from demanding an oath be taken by all teaching staff and that students are made to feel free to complain if they suspect their right to freedoms of expression and thought are being restricted. A mere statement that the staff have seen the error of their ways and have reformed is easily not honoured...

This article and a dozen like it, is why I support Ayan Hirsi Ali "RE storing the West"

We "the West"( in thought word and title deed) need to rise up against all former "take it for granted" political parties. WE do tell the Global isteninng Community - we are not- a Monolitic Voting Block of Retired Aging Persons needing Elder Care Faclities or Hospice or "Aging at Home" or "In Place" We ( over age 75, are the active movers and shakers of our Town and Country Housing plans ! We are "at home" in many places and spaces- as well as open minded in person travellers while total loyal and faithful to one Community Center - "park" or village etc.
