Deeply grateful for Ayaan Hirsi Ali, a courageous intellectual who's speaking out, openly, calling for the restoration of sanity, civility, and the moral/ethical values and virtues that have made the West a uniquely free society—able to acknowledge and address its challenges.
Clearly AHA recognizes that addressing the challenge is now the critical juncture the West faces, particularly since there are now sizeable Islamic/Muslim communities that now exist in many Western countries. The best hope is for these communities to engage in assimilation into their now Western domiciles. I am eagerly awaiting some sage, sane, civil advice on how to accomplish this while still adhering to those very freedoms that make us uniquely Western. Our Constitution in the US enshrines our freedoms and values, but as AHA has recognized, our Constitution is not a suicide pact with those who wish to destroy them. She, and others like Douglas Murray, are way smarter than I, and I hope she (& they} can help guide us through these very turbulent waters.

Hope it is not too late for us to keep believing there really still is the idea of a civilization known as .."THE WEST" It is and will always be the painful difficult work of authors and writers, saints and neighbors who from their First Hand experience have like you Ayaan Hirsi Ali - paid "the price" and solicited funds for The Cost of keeping on Message !
