The left is anything but empathetic, they don’t care about anyone but their end goals to dismantle society. They gleefully itch to make the “powerful and privileged” into the new downtrodden class. There won’t be a civil rights or NAACP movement for us when that happens, it would be labeled as the “KKK resurrected” and be crushed immediately.

It's so sad. It is a failure of justice and an illustration of the lack of moral clarity in Western culture today.

Spain, much like England and France, has sacrificed its honor and dignity on the altar of leftist immorality.

Wow Daisy --You absolutely got straight to the heart of the question.

What kind of a society are we, what kind of society will we have, if we push victims to the side (or to death) while allowing the perpetrators off the hook.

Isn't that the basic difference between cilvilized people--we love life...and the barbarians who are a death cult?

A society that devalues life, for any reason, has no moral compass and will eventually fall victim to its own ignorance.

Considering your argument, how come you write nothing about the perpetrators and what consequences, if any, they suffered? The silence is an indictment against your line of reasoning, isn't it?

And really, if the state fails to uphold its end of the deal, about the citizens surrendering the prerogative to seek their own restoration of dignity and respect through retribution, or in other words "taking the law into their own hands", in exchange for protection by the state, the breach of contract forms a legitimate challenge to state authority that must be resolved if the rule of law is to last.

The ECHR decision is a disgrace and despicable. It does not disclose justice but a gross form of utilitarian administration. That in turn discloses an "unhuman"- to use a term of Jack Posobiec-, trend by the socialist-leaning administrative state. Her father's standing before the law ought to have been of greater weight. The moral and ethical guardrails of conscience of the actors in this case, notably the Court'. are a pile of scattered (diabolos) rubble in this case.

Totally disagree. She should have the right to decide if she wants to continue her life. Dont judge people.

Was she capable of making a sound decision? The "right" --if it comes only on emotional feelings with no support or hope for the future --is not a sound decision. Nor should it be a "right".

We judge the system and society that failed to punish the animals who abused her and encouraged this innocent victim to take her own life.

Doctors should not decide what is best for this person. They are not going to be by her side to get her through long days and nights.

I’m saying it’s her right over her life. She should decide for herself.

God told man what the Truth is. Suicide is not a part of it.
