When it comes to men and women, the libs, lib feminists, lib academics, and lib politicians could not have been more wrong. These captured soles base their entire narrative on the falsehood that equal = the same. You hit the nail on the head. This is so many decades in the making. And the losses due to this misunderstanding are unfathonable.
The evidence is all around us. People who think playing "woman" is the same as being a "woman." People who think war is never a solution. That men who work out are stupid. People who think men are monsters. And yes, movies who portray women as fighting men -- instead of, for example, beautiful humble women who are "discovered."
We have lost so much.
The loss of true feminism. The loss of male chivalry. The loss of courageous leaders. The loss of mothers and family.
Our civilization is actually dying due to this we-are-the-same mistake. Impressionable younger women are encouraged to discount their bodies and child bearing responsibilities and place children second-- which is leading to our own extinction if not solved. Men are encouraged to act like women instead of developing their male responsibilities like courage, strength, leadership, and a desire to protect. In lib circles this is very pronounced - where victimhood is worn as a badge -- leading to uncontrolled handouts and corruption that will bankrupt our nation if not curtailed.
This misuse of the world "equal" might be construed as not-a-big-deal, but there may not be a bigger issue given this "mistake" threatens our very survival.
Watching women athletes and watching women compete physically against men has always been a fascination with me. As a small woman who decided to go into the construction trade. I became stronger and tougher than most of the men in my life. I also had to balance because I chose to, my feminity. I embrace both sides of my nature and acknowledge that I can still out perform a lot of the men in my age group of 76 y.o. I believe to be fair that the decision is equitable.
