Daisy M. Inglese
Daisy M. Inglese is Senior Editor of Faith & Family at Restoring the West by Ayaan Hirsi Ali.
A practicing Catholic, she previously served as a Fellow with the Permanent Observer Mission of the Holy See to the United Nations, covering the Third Committee on social, humanitarian, and cultural issues, and has worked with the Legatum Institute and the Alliance of Responsible Citizenship (ARC) in its early stages.
She is a writer and policy analyst, working on faith, family, and life issues in the UK, with a particular focus on public policy and pro-life advocacy. (She grew up in the South of England, and enjoys travelling with her husband.) She is happily married and expecting her first child this year.
Tuesday: Education
Jenna A. Robinson
Jenna A. Robinson, Senior Editor of Education at Restoring the West, is president of the James G. Martin Center for Academic Renewal.
She serves on the board of the Alumni Free Speech Alliance and is a founding member of the UNC Alumni Free Speech Alliance. She previously served as a member of the North Carolina Advisory Committee for the U.S. Commission on Civil Rights. She studied political science at NC State and UNC-Chapel Hill and has taught courses in American politics and government. In her free time, she reads and bakes.
Wednesday: Law & Liberty
Trey Dimsdale
Trey Dimsdale, Senior Editor of Law & Liberty at Restoring the West, is president of the AHA Foundation.
He has spent his career as a nonprofit leader and educator. His writing on issues related to law, culture, and human rights has appeared at Religion & Liberty, Law & Liberty, Public Discourse, and he is a contributing editor at Providence. He holds a law degree in addition to degrees in theological ethics, history, and political science. In his spare time, Trey and his family enjoy classical music, travel, and reading.
Thursday: Nation & Citizenship
Todd Huizinga
Todd Huizinga is Senior Editor of Nation and Citizenship at Restoring the West by Ayaan Hirsi Ali.
A former U.S. diplomat, he is the author of The New Totalitarian Temptation: Global Governance and the Crisis of Democracy in Europe, lauded in National Review as “the best book ever written about the European Union.” Todd was International Director for the Acton Institute from 2014-2016 and Senior Fellow for Europe of the Religious Freedom Institute from 2020-2025.
Todd’s articles and essays have appeared in publications in the United States, Germany, the Netherlands, Hungary and Australia.
Friday: Media, Arts & Culture
Grace Salvatore
Grace Salvatore is Senior Editor of Media, Arts, and Culture at Restoring the West by Ayaan Hirsi Ali and a columnist for Independent Women’s Voice.
Her work has appeared in National Review, The Daily Wire, Reason, New York Daily News, The New York Sun, and The Washington Examiner, among others.
Previously, Salvatore directed the Dissident Project at Young Voices, educating students about the dangers of authoritarianism. Originally from Omaha, Nebraska, she is a proud Wolverine and a University of Michigan Musical Theatre graduate. As a professional actor, she appeared in multiple television productions and off-Broadway shows, but her favorite roles remain wife, sister, and daughter.

Ayaan Hirsi Ali
Ayaan Hirsi Ali is a globally recognized women’s rights activist, bestselling author, founder of the AHA Foundation, and the founder and editor-in-chief of Restoring the West. Born in Somalia and subjected to female genital mutilation as a child and an arranged, forced marriage, she fled to the Netherlands, where she became a member of parliament and a fearless voice against oppression. She is the author of several acclaimed books, including Infidel, Heretic, and Prey, and has been named one of Time magazine’s 100 most influential people.
Every Saturday, Ayaan shares her unfiltered thoughts on what she’s reading, thinking about, and watching—offering readers an intimate look at the ideas shaping her view of the world.
