No need to find it embarrassing. The author did not miscast the Nuns, they author Re-Cast what the Nuns were doing and experiencing. This is called Revisionism, just another effort by the Left to remove God from our lives. Which when complete will have destroyed Western Civilization, which is built on our Judeo-Christian heritage.
“Between all the idiotic, unqualified women and men with microphones and platforms who do nothing but waste their breath and our time...". There, I fixed it for them.
I find it odd how liberal minds must "return" each thought to their false narrative. Which is based on conflict instead of goodness. It is a comfort for them to resort to conflict which never brings true balance and happiness. I may not be Christian but belief in something bigger than us is a must to bring happiness and joy. Libs just can't help themselves from adding "hate" and "resentment" to the table. It is a mental obsession with them. They are so loyal to their hatreds they can't wake up and enjoy the fruits of making America and the world a better place. Just my opinion. 🤷♂️
Feminism operates from a fundamentally incorrect view of the male-female relationship and its analyses are similarly fundamentally flawed. They view men and women as competitors, so everything is looked through the lens that women are good and men are bad, women are innocent and men are guilty, etc.
The Equal Rights Movement needs to bite the bullet, remember that men and women are interdependent, not competitive, toss out feminist analysis and start again.
Necessary reporting, Delphine. Thank you. Perhaps it would be helpful to appreciate on whom Jesus conferred the task of announcing his Resurrection to his Apostles ... Mary Magdalene (whose feast day was on Wednesday). The Church recognizes her as "the Apostle to the Apostles." Mary's love and discipleship in following Jesus is the template used by so many religious women (and should be by all of us). Only the Blessed Mother, Jesus' first (female) disciple, could love him more.
I find it so embarrassing for whoever wrote the article that they so blatantly miscast what the nuns were doing and experiencing.

Well put. The journalist's fundamental misunderstanding puts one in mind of the story of the blind men and the elephant.

The only way the journo can tolerate someone else's joy is by imagining that it's somehow Marxist.

Wonderful piece, Ms. Chui! Thank you!
We all want a return to Eden but most either forget the way or choose to ignore the trail markers.
