The Finnish Supreme Court has wrongly equated peaceful Christian expression with hate speech, undermining the distinction between deeply held belief and genuine incitement to harm.
Very well articulated! We need to wake up as the Body of Christ to challenge the outright assault on our faith where even quoting the Bible can be seen as hate speech.
Acquitted twice, but they still went after her. Tells you all you need to know. Normally it only the guilty findings that keep getting appealed, not the not guilty. Not a good omen (have there been many?) for the Nordic nation.
Time to wake up… not only in Europe! Love the homosexuals but hate their flag and propaganda! Where is the Christian flag…not in Starbucks not at city hall.
Of course, the entire concept of "hate speech" is designed specifically to empower the suppression of views like this. Nebulous and subjective, anything can be argued to be "hate speech", creating a powerful cudgel of control.
Christianity is the easy target. Let's see what happens when Islamic scripture, including the haddiths and Sura - which are far, Far, FAR more incompatible with progressive sensitivities - comes under then same dedicated legal attack. Because if these social champions don't go after them with the same verve, the same reasons, the hypocrisy and discrimination will become glaringly obvious, embarrassing, and - like already well established in Britain and Canada - yet another western liberal-democracy-in-name-only will get a yet another two tiered legal system with institutionalized inequality through legal privilege, in this case for Muslims.

I remember smuggling Bibles back in 1990. If caught, passport would have been stamped with the equivalent of carrying porn.

Exactly this
In the meantime, Islamic rapists get free passes because they are a minority group there and it's "just their culture".

Let's hope they don't dig too deeply into the Koran.
How would they do that? Finns don't read Arabic.
Apparently the only religious language that can be expressed in Finland, & I fear a great many other places, is Islam.Very disturbing trend.

I can't help wondering what they would do to a Muslim who posts an anti-LGBTQ comment.
